It has always been so obvious to me: if you want to get a job you need to get educated. 👩🏻🎓Go to school, make friends, join a sports club or two, get a few holidays a year and all of a sudden you have your own business 🗂 And so after 22 years in school this lawgirl rolls into the setting of working and permanent education, so basically lawyers attend school all there lives. I never questioned it, never thought of it. Now, starting my own research and getting a lot more involved in cases where people aren’t so lucky, plus the fact I meet lots of people travelling, things change. I decided to post this picture and some videos a while after graduation, because I realised I never really showed my happiness or gratitude about finishing law school and I would say that is ignorant. Here’s why: 📊262 kids worldwide can’t go to school, of which the majority is girls, whether for religious or pure practical reasons. Out of adolescences 1 of every 5 doesn’t make it through high school for whatever reason. And still it feels natural that I took all these years of education. Helping out the youngsters in law or some senior lawyers got me thinking about my career in a broader perspective. Now I have new goals and plans to work for, I decided not only to work as corporate law tiger, but also join an international research program about topics like the one on girls education, which shows me how lucky I have been to be surrounded by so many inspiring and loving people 👊
So long story short: If you are out there and rocking your life be proud. It doesn’t matter if you took years of education like me, got your dreamjob or raise your mini-me 🦶Try to start the day with thinking of thing what you are grateful for 🙏🏼 and inspire other people. Stop the hate, jealousy and bad talking about others, you know nothing about that person and might even like him or her when you get to know them.
So I would challenge you: copy the form of my story, fill it in and post it on your own story🤳🏽 Who run the world? 💃🏻 #girls #thatorangegirl #phd #graduation #goals #golfer #lover #lawyer #beachbabe #education #educationfirst #plan #work #travel
